A little note from Panayiotis

I’m setting sail on my very first trip,
with Mummy and Daddy as captains of my ship,
my godfather Polyvios as my guiding light,
and all of you with me — what a wonderful sight!

Andreas & Hayley warmly invite you to the baptism of their son Panayiotis on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 12 noon, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos & St Andreas in Birmingham. Afterwards, we’ll all celebrate together over lunch.

Good to know

A few little things to help the day go smoothly.

  • Arrive by 11:45

    The service starts at 12 noon — on time, if our little captain allows!

  • About an hour

    Expect some lovely Greek singing, a big splash and maybe a few tears (probably his!).

  • Then lunch!

    We’ll celebrate together over lunch after the service — details coming soon.
